Yesterday Apple approved the 1.2 update of FretBoard and FretBoard LE. The update incorporates the following changes:
- FretBoard now has skin support. You can choose from several woods, strings and inlays to personalize the look of the landscape view.
- New optional display of fretmarkers. The instruments database now holds fretmarkers positions for most of the instruments.
- eliminated the status bar in landscape view
- the nut is now indicated with an x instead of an 0
- mandolin tuning is now available as 4 course and 5 course version
- fixed a bug in the “6 course Renaissance Tenor Lute” and added tuning for 8 and 10-course tuning and the 13-course Baroque Lute
- FretBoard now sports 101 instrument tunings in 14 instrument groups
- FretBoard is now ready for the iPhone OS 3.0
